Anyway what kind of external tool ?
The advantage using HMS backup is that (i think) make a snapshot of the mysql db and the messages, and then take only thoses messages and not the one which have been received after this mysql snapshot...

In all case, i think it's better... That's what all apache, mysql, says even on win32 : use / instead of \

Furthermore, you can't retreive with hms password from user since they are encrypted so you can't use the webmail to bypass this :x

Just by copied the previous vbs and make transformed it to handle creation of distribution list. I made this very quickly so there probably are errors when distribution list already exist, etc... but worked for me since i was in a hurry to add about 200 mails in 5 distributions list and worked well ...
