Re: Sudden memory / IMAP problems
I'd be surprised if it was Matt, clamd on the server but at the moment I'm quarantining all zip and doc extensions as they come in. Thanks for the replies, I tried everything over the last couple of days, I too thought that idle may be a problem, especially with the multiple connections per client but disabling didn't help. I thought Microsoft too, but no patches in the last 4 or 5 days, smart data checks out ok too.
I'll shut it down later and do a check the disk out.
But would that explain the abnormal memory usage?

Hi Matt
It's been replaced by the standard hMail message under that filename saying 'does not exist' etc
I'm thinking I may have lost sync and those messages were deleted previously but the database doesn't reflect that.

Over the last couple of days I've had an issue on one of my servers with users complaining that Outlook is very slow at browsing and that they only see new mail if they restart outlook. If you have add X-hMailServer-Spam ticked in General Anti-spam page AND your message hits the Spam mark threshold then a criteria of:

normally works.

What I was thinking is that you could probably imap into the account, create a new temp folder, move all the messages from the inbox over to it. Then copy all the messages you want to receive again back to the inbox - hmail will redownload them as new messages - just tried it and it works.
