Re: Encrypted Email Data
Why not use Window's built-in file system encryption functionality? From my expirience it is pain in a**** to recover data from it when it comes to disaster data recovery. Windows encryption is related to user UID nad can't be decrypted/read on other system even if you log in as same user (with sam...

Hi, I ma not sure what information is stored in database, but as it seems from users posts here on forum that hMail stores mail paths in database too. What if we split information like: 1. Database: user details (name, password) + path to the root of mailbox like: x:\somewhere\user.surname@domain.co...

Re: Greylist Auto Bypass
I like this idea altogether. So here is suggestion that might solve issue with random generated magic keys from spammers side and users having to define magic key before using it. How about having an option in hMail to define e-mail address like "regmagic@domain.com", that will accept mails only fro...

Re: DNS blacklist - submit authentication in url
:) if they use [Octet-Reversed IP] [Access Key][List-Specific Domain] instead of [Access Key][Octet-Reversed IP][List-Specific Domain], their stuff would be compatible with any standard RBL tools. Ask your service provider for such feature. It is not "authentication". It is prefix added to domain n...

Re: This message was checked by XXXX antivirus system.
I could not edit my pervios post, and you where too fast :D I understood you very well. Useful scenario IMO: Imagine someone got virus via email on his/her computer. And it happens in time when that person receives mail from my mail server. When it sees that in mail sent from server says "This messa...

Re: This message was checked by XXXX antivirus system.
@Bill48105, My intention is not to advertise anyone here, i just put it there as example. This feature is present in webmail based servers, like hotmail and gmail (well gmail just shows message "Scaning for viruses.."). I would like option for hMail to add in signature that (outgoing) message has be...

DNS blacklist - submit authentication in url
Hi, me again. It seams that spamhaus and spamcop do not need access key to be provided for DNS query. I am registered user of http://www.projecthoneypot.org, and I already use their plugin for my Wordpress based blog. They require access key to be provided for DNS query. Here is link to API implemen...

Hi, I am using hMail server v5.3.2-B1769 in LAN environment. I am testing it's capabilities and making preparations to demonstrate it's capabilities to my CEO so we could start using it in real working environment. hMail is great software. Now i see.
Well, both of them can't work on port 80. So you will have to modify that in Apprelium (see picture).

Re: PHPWebadmin
Don't want to be "pushy", but sometimes trying to solve something will consume more time than starting with something else/new. Installing Apprelium is in few seconds, and server will be up and running. It's just PHP that needs few clicks more to be configured and running. You have Aliases to map re...
