How to output debug message in EventHandlers.js

In my test-purpose EventHandlers.js , I have function OnAcceptMessage(oClient, oMessage) { Result.Value = 2 Result.Message = "[5]The hMailServer OnAcceptMessage() handler did not complete gracefully. Re: Incoming mail subject goes blank when [SPAM] is prepened

A quick reply to my 1.5-year old previous post. The freezing when upgrading hMailserver is probably due to a malware running on that test machine, not an hMailServer issue.

That is a VMware Workstation virtual machine on my PC, so I can have a chance to check it one year later.

Every normal mailing list or email conference will fail SPF From: check. Oh, yes, thank you. I go back to check some mailing list I've subscribed, e.g. help-make@gnu.org . SPF spam detection should check "From:" field as well

I'm using hMailServer-5.3.2-B1769, working smoothly most of the time. I find a problem with SPF today. SPF actions checks the "MAIL FROM" address(i.e. Return-Path") against the sender domain. I think it should check into the "From:" header field as well. If not, a forger can forge sender address in ...

BTW: Occurrence of "Delivering message from to " is 200~300 times per day on my server. Not a big volume, right?

I know I have a final thing to investigate: check whether there is a rough PC in my intranet sending out spam directly to receiver's domain.

A minor request of HELO host name anti-spam checking

I hope that there is an option: When hMailServer gets IP address instead of hostname as HELO parameter, give it a spam score.

I've found some sly spam mail servers use just IP in their HELO command, and hMailserver(v5.3.2) will not give it a spam score.

Thank you.
