Re: Automatic whitelisting

The reason I was asking if it would be possible to modify the script to whitelist domain level additions (*@company.com) is because I already have 900 new entries in 4 days. I'm sure I have several different contacts at company.com that are in the list and it'd be nice to narrow...lets say 9 entries...

Re: Whitelist Capacity/Performance

mattg - I'm referring to just plain whitelisting not Greylist >> Whitelist. Since I've added andyp's auto-whitelist script (4 days ago), 900 entries have been added. This is also the reason I was asking if it would be possible to modify the script to whitelist domain level additions (*@company.com) ...

Re: Automatic whitelisting

Does anyone know of a way to modify the script to act on a domain level as opposed to individual email addresses? That would be helpful. There are handful of emails that go out to particular companies and I'd rather have this as a single entry rather than 3+.

Thanks People!

Whitelist Capacity/Performance

I've got a couple quick questions regarding whitelisting in hMailServer. - Is anyone aware of a limit to the number of entries? - Has anyone experienced a decrease in performance when having a large number of white-list entries? I've just found my whitelist growing and growing and sometimes I'm hesi...

Re: SMTPC errors - Transaction Failed

Just in case anyone was interested, here is what I found out about this issue. Apparently they are being marked with the 554 message due to McAfee's trustedsource applicance (trustedsource.org). When I look at my IP on the trustedsource.org website, it shows mail traffic from my IP and because I jus...

Re: SMTPC errors - Transaction Failed

Thanks to both of you for all of your help. I figured out where the IP was coming from and it was actually just one of our branch's IP addresses (duh). I also think I figured out what is going on here: We were having horrible issues with our previous email provider: Non-stop spam, took forever to ge...

Re: SMTPC errors - Transaction Failed

I see that now. Well at least your still helping us out by making it free! As far as the issue I had goes: I am still having the same issue when sending through squirrelmail. I will just have to get in touch with one of the recipient's email admins and see why this is being marked as spam. Just for ...

Re: SMTPC errors - Transaction Failed

Wow, I don't think I've ever received such a quick response! > It doesn't. Message delivery is ended by <newline><dot><newline> so the log looks correct to me. I was right about to add another post with the undeliverable response from hMail which states that it in fact did only get interpreted as a ...

SMTPC errors - Transaction Failed

Hey everyone. I need some assistance. I'm not sure if this is something that is being caused by hMail itself, since I am able to telnet to the destination server and send an email without an issue. Basically, this is happening with a couple different domains. When I try to send an email it authentic...

Re: Redirect messages (SPAM) to a Different Account (no IMAP)

Thanks to both of you. I am currently running spamd on a linux box as my method to mark the messages as spam, however I have still not yet been able to tweak the rules to ensure that only spam is being block. There are cases where some ham gets marked and our emails are very critical. For the meanti...

Redirect messages (SPAM) to a Different Account (no IMAP)

One feature I would be really interested in seeing is the option to move an email to a specific account's inbox. Not necessarily forwarding the email (I do not want the destination account the see the email). I am also not referring to use of IMAP. For example: All of my SPAM email are marked as "**...
