Re: New feature DKIM
My understanding of the _domainkey record is that it is (or was) used with DomainKeys, and not DKIM. Of course I could be wrong.
Martin,
Can I refer you back to this post, which got lost in the chatter over the weekend?

There is an online one here: http://www.socketlabs.com/services/dkwiz But it's best to make your own. Perhaps scripting something similar to what Martin has suggested here - http://www.hmailserver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2542&p=76437#p76437 That will be a handy feature when added. Running external scripts after hacker/ spammer detection?
I'm wondering if it's possible to do something with hmail's internal scripting. What I'm thinking is something along the lines of this. If a DNSBL returns a positive result for a known spammer, then I can run an external script to add that particular IP to my firewall. Or, another example, if a user...

The random looking characters in that snippet are only base64 encoded representations of the username and password, they aren´t encrypted. I decoded them here:

I thought I would give this a try too and, well, in Thunderbird it appears to cause some problems. I think Doom has a good point. I can imagine that some spammer, knowing this behavior about hMailserver could exploit it by retrying a few times. So I think maybe an option would be a better idea than making this standard behavior.

Add rule option to scan msg with SpamAssassin (V5)
Since messages which are fetched from other providers are not scanned for spam, (using V5s built in SA client) I think an option in the rules to do this might be a good idea.
