no. There are no advanced options, it simply points to mny mail server, as any client would do, and shoots out emails.

So I contact Invision, and they say they have timestamps in their software. I infact know this is true as I know someone running another invision board with the same version (2.1.6, the latest). So what should I do next?

I misunderstood the question. Most emails (if they are not from my email server like from one of my boards) have dates. The ones I get from the board softwares and from other people on my server only have the time and not the date (or unknown date as it says in SQ). The ones I am talking about here ...

No its set perfectly. GMT -5, time is set by atomic clock. There was a post about this before in like 3.1 release and it was aparently fixed.

wow, I'm lost then. I never had problems with XP Pro as a server. As for waht to do, have you tried remaking your database? Or at least trying to repair it? That was the casue of another set of problems I had, but iwth win2k though.

Well IMAP takes up alot of bandwidth so I'd gie it to privalaged users. Save on bandwidth and stuff. Also if one was running a cokmpany, they could use that feature as incentive to donate/pay for service.

Thats exactly what I did to remedy this. Yeah it was that my server was being spammed. For some reason I had it set to 'Always Relay' Which was a bad thing. Its fixed now. After deleting the 6000 queued messages in my mail folder it worked like a charm. Now I just gota delete those massive log files...
