What is the purpose of putting the first record with a TTL of an hour? Rather than a day/week especially if the IP address is not changing.

Im not sure what happened, but I setup my email account on my iphone and after I upgraded to version 5 I cannot send email. I can download/read it just fine but when I send an email I get this error "The connection to the outgoing server "mail.---.com" failed" "SMTPD" 2520 89380 "2009-03-12 20:33:34...

Is there any way of sorting messages where it doesn't have to sort through them? Like a default way they are sorted to begin with (date/number received?)

Re: slow opening inbox
That did it -- I accidentally had my filters set to scan all messages (i was trying to sort out some email a while back). And I had forgotten to change it back to strictly scanning only unread messages - I just did and now it only takes 1-3 seconds to open my inbox.
Thanks for the help!

Re: slow opening inbox
I may be moving back to squirrelmail if I cannot get this fixed -- the login process for Horde takes a very long time as well. With squirrelmail I have never had any of these issues. The only 'spam' feature I have enabled in horde is being able to report emails to ASSP. Where you click on a link and...

That is strictly ME opening the inbox > going to the next page > going to a folder named marquette.
Besides flagging a message important (only the marquette folder) I haven't done anything to the folders...or sorting it by data received?

I searched and could not find anything related to this although I wasn't sure how to word it at the same time. My issue is that it takes 10-12 seconds to move to my inbox folder of about 500 messages, I am not sure how much all the messages total too though. For all the messages I have between all m...

Not sure if this is a bug or not, it was working last night then it stopped updating. Then I went and looked this morning and even though it had processed another 150 messages or so...

That's a really useful document for self-signed certs. Thanks for posting. In my case, I was using a purchased SSL cert. This was discussed in the thread i posted above. Yes you can limit it, but the smtp connection will not be cut until the client has finished uploading the entire file in some cases. (outlook will do this) then it will reject it.westdam wrote:i believe the hmailserver support the SMTP SIZE parameter..isn't it?

Yes. That's not strictly true. If i remember correctly if the size is sent to hMail and it is over the limit then it will be rejected but not all clients send the size before sending the email in which case hMail will download the whole file and then reject it. Pretty sure thats how it works  ...
