Installed Windows 2012 Std. on the new machine, incl. MySQL Comm. Edition 5.6 and hMS 5.4B1950.

Everything works fine without the need of running the sync tool.

After the first phone call of my client I manually restarted both hMS and MySQL. I also rebooted the client's workstation with no positive effects. So since the first problem report of my client and the "working again" scenario hMS & SQL were restarted for a total of 4 times.

Yep, I did this during the setup when hMS asks for dependencies. If I check services.msc hMS' service lists MySQL + RPC as dependencies. I don't think that the services hang or simply stop. Windows' error logs are clear and even hMS' log files are empty. If both services are stopped and then restart...

Hm? Which table do you mean? The file mysqldump.exe creates is named "hmailserver.sql" (3.71MB) and I've got the "standard" data folder in my hMS folders ..\hMailServer\MySQL\data\hmailserver (*.frm, *.MYD, *.MYI & db.opt).
