Hi,
Beside mailing lists, is there a way for me to send an email to the whole domain? I know we can do that with the administrator panel, but I prefer a way from my mail client.
Or do I have to create a mailing list and put all users in it, and add new users to it?
Thanks

Wrong SPAM detection, hmailserver or ASSP?
Hi, I just received a mail that has been considered as SPAM. Dunno if this is hmailserver that considered it as SPAM, or ASSP. (mmm seems it is ASSP according to the headers) Here are the headers about spam : Subject: [SPAM] Message SNM 0084 (NICE-FLG-CARREAU) du 12-12-2008 Sender: msnm-avignon-sn.s...

ASSP and hmailserver : sending mail does not work anymore
Hi,
Anybody can help me configuring ASSP and hmailserver? Now that I have enabled ASSP, when I try to send an email, I have an error message with an incorrect host message <ASSP.nospam>, unable to forward message.
Thanks
btw I have setup hmailserver to use my ISP smtp server to send mail.

Re: HOWTO: Installing ASSP with hMailServer
Thanks for this wonderful howto.
Now, how can I check if the mails are really processed by ASSP and not direct to hmailserver?
Do I have to configure hmailserver some way as well?
Thanks

Re: Character encoding issue
But I need the accentuated character, not the encoded one. Just because the quoted printable one is a mail kind of character, and I copy and paste my mail into an article on a website, and quoted printable is not html compliant. So any way to convert the quoted printable ones to non encoded ones ? I...

When are mail rules processed?
Hi,
Are mail rules server side processed before or after spam rules?
For instance, I have setup the spam system to put [SPAM] in the subject of spams.
Can I then put a rule to put mails with [SPAM] in the subject into the Junk folder?
Thanks

Re: Character encoding issue
When I send a mail from gmail, for instance, with a character like "ô", when I look at the source, the mail is written as "quoted printable". I upgraded to hmailserver 5, and it fixed nothing, when I send "ô" character, when I look at source I see "=F4" instead. But if I save my mail as html then op...

Re: Character encoding issue
As I said, forget about my scripts, it is not script related. In thunderbird, when on a mail you do a view source, before hmailserver I had "ô", and with hmailserver I have "=F4". With the same mail client.
So it seems this is mail server related.

Re: Deleting old mails server side
Mmm ok then I'll check when the v5 will be ready.
Is this a manual way or automatic way of doing this?
Btw I do not want to remove a whole folder, just to remove old sent mail in sent mailbox, for instance, the sent mail that are one year old for instance.

Re: Mail to my users is delayed
Oh ok thanks ^^ Strange that greylisting put the message of a required username/password though :) There could be a problem with greylisting btw, as it delays all the mails. What is a good value for delayed? 30 minutes between the mail beeing sent and the mail beeing received seems a lot. Other issu...

Deleting old mails server side
Hi,
Is there a way in hmailserver to delete old mails in the sent folder for instance? My users often keep all sent mails, and I have thousands of them.
Thanks

Need information about how HM works
Hi, I have some questions about how it works. We have a server in our company, and a website. Currently, the website is hosted on a remote server, on our provider. And our provider hosts our emails too, with our domain name. (yes, we have a domain too) I would like to install HM on our local server....
