Better to have a simple tool that works (sooner) rather than a very sophisticated tool that takes longer to develop and is more complicated to learn.

I would like to setup an LDAP server so I can centralize my users' addresses. Since I use hMailServer for email, I would like to know what other hMailServer admins use for an LDAP server (if anyone uses LDAP).

That's right. I installed, stoped and started the service (after turning SMTP back on) and all the mail was processed. As you said there would be, I found many entries in the log where the .hma file was not found.

I can now send and receive just fine.

Good news. I got rid of most of the spam. 18,000 .hma files is now only 1,600. I stopped and restarted the service but it still did not process the messages.

I am looking forward to new version to get things up and running again.

I just turned it on 2-3 days ago in response to your response to another posting of mine. It does not seem to have stopped the spam, though. I also turned on tarpitting (trying everything I can to stop the spam).
