My thinking is add a header "X-Authenticated" in the OnAcceptMessage (looks like you cannot check for that in OnDeliverMessage), then do a conditional based on that header in the OnDeliverMessage. Does anyone have an example of checking whether a user is SMTP authenticated in the OnAcceptMessage?

OK, I should have noticed that, although this does not explain why anything with a URL is being marked 'spam'. The URLs in question are not listed in a search of all RBLs on the SURBL.org web site, so I assumed that hMail would not mark them 'spam'.

Hmm... I think forwarding the catch-all to a null address was causing a terribly high load on the server. I'm thinking the way that hMail handles it by default is better overall, however some other email servers simply send DENY instead of returning any information, (e.g. "Unknown user").

hMailServer.exe is throttling the CPU steadily at 50% usage. I imagine if I restart it it will be fine for now. Also, there is a strange large file that grows about 1MB every 30 seconds or so residing in the data dir.

I disabled the AVG Virus Scanner entirely and ended up having the same problem again. The log looks about the same and the culprit once again is Yahoo Groups. Might I reiterate that this problem has not happened at all for any other email.

Yahoo would actually be the sender since it's Yahoo Groups, a popular mailing list subscription service. We don't seem to have this problem with regular yahoo.com emails, just Yahoo Groups.

jabaah you might have to 'cancel' the curly-brace characters '{' and '}' as I'm not sure how Perl interprets the curly-brace characters inside a string. Check some Perl forums/resources. Post a how-to and some examples when you get it working! :D
