Well it works now. Not sure if this is by design but once I selected compress files it works. I didn;t use this feature as i didn't need compression and that is what I figured it meant. Backup not restoring messages
I have upgraded to 4.2 with only a few issues. I have tried twice to a backup with messages and then restore on another server(upgrading). It restores everthying fine including directory structure but does not restore the contents.(mail) Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas?

upgrading to 1.4.6 RC1
I tried to upgrade my installation of squirrelmail as per the instructions on squirrlemail site. And now I feel stupid. I keep getting a loop occuring as I can not log into squirrelmail. Data not backed up
I am trying to finish off the move over to the new server. I have tried using the built in backup/restore twice. It seems to work except that no data is transfered(emails) the directory structure is there though? Has anyone else had this issue. Can I just copy the data directory over?
