Just a note regarding smp.

I am currently running 5.4.1950 on a quad, quad core xeon 2.4Ghz, supermicro motherboard.
So that is 4 processors and 16 cores.

I have not run into any issues.

The os is W2k3 enterprise.

And like Bill mentions, I would upgrade to 1950 anyway.

I remember when it worked that way, all mail in the users dir. Nothing but problems, as windows choked on it.

I like it the way it is now.

But yeah, if someone wanted to run an older version, or modify the 4.x code, they can have at it.
