Look at your hmailserver and assp logs. If you are seeing the messages in the spam & nospam folders, it is more than likely a configuration error.

One thing to do is telnet in on port 25, you should get a message from the hmailserver.

You could try http://www.logmein.com. I wouldn't suggest this solution for a business, as you rely on a third party for security. But if you are accessing your home computer from school it will work. It uses https and you would simply need to install an app on your computer at home.
