I've updatet my hmailserver to the newest version - and copied phpwebadmin to my web diretory and edited config.php. On my last version af phpmyadmin/hmailserver it worked - but all problems came after updatig.

I'm sure that I've specified a valid value for session.save_path. I'll try to find out..

I'll try to use the same lists. After activating the 3 stardard lists I still have big problems with spam.

I've thought about activating DNS blacklists. Good idea? I see, that I've 3 blacklists under spam protection; sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org, relays.ordb.org, bl.spamcop.net.

Should I activate those?

After I have viewed attached files in a mail I get this error when I try to see the mail:

I havn't restarted ASSP but it's done now - I'm waiting for a report from the person who notics me about the problem.

Should I allways restart ASSP after at have edited something in my "Local Domain file"?

What hMailServer version are you using? The latest version doesn't contain this error message at all. It's ASSP who send out the error. But I can't find out what the problem seems to be.. The domain is added to my domainlist "Local Domain file". ISP/Secondary MX Servers and Accept All Mails are set...

How can I learn ASSP to mark the correct mails as spams? When I e.g. get a mail from the forum eksperten.dk, it’s marked as SPAM, but it couldn’t.

Yes, and I found a option to point a domain list. The ASSP are now running.
But now I have a new problem..When anybody sent a mail to me, [SPAM] is added in the subject - not just for spam-messages but for all incomming messages.

Yes, if I turn of ASSP and set hmailserver-SMTP to listening on port 25 it all work again.

Oki - but how can I restart ASSP?

After installing ASSP which listening on port 25, I have changed hmailservers SMTP to listning at port 125.
After this I restarted hmailserver, and tried to send a email with the server. But Outlook tells me, that it couldn't connect to the server.

Do anybody have a solution on this problem?

Efter installing hmailserver on my server I get a lot of SPAM-messages in my mailbox.
Can I do anything to filter out this SPAM-messages?

I have just installed a new squirrelmail instead of the "Alternate SM Mod":

After I enabled the logs I tried to sent a mail from Squrillmail. But maybe if the squrillmail cant get access to the server, it wouldn't create a log?

I found these vars in the config file:
$use_smtp_tls = false;
$smtp_auth_mech = 'plain';

Should I edit one of these?
I have tried to set $use_smtp_tls = true, but that doesn't help me.

I'm trying to sent email using my hmail-server.
I have no problems with the pop3-server, but when i try to sent a mail from my server mail.mydomain.com (mail.unixhost.dk), I get an errormessage telling that the server in unavaible.

Can somebody help me?

Yes, I think that I haven't access for SMTP on my netconnection. But thats ok - I will move my server to a new netconncetion, when the server is ready.
