Logging

Yes, the one under status. I was just wondering if there's a way to leave it on instead of clicking the start button everytime I leave that area. Also I have to scroll up just to see what is happening. I guess I'm lazy clicking and scrolling. Thanks.

Logging

Is there a way to always turn the logging screen on? Is it really not automatically scrolling upward?

I just found out that I have to turn on the Application logging to see the error message about multi.surbl.org. Thanks Danny.

Sorry but I did not understand your reply. My concern was the multi.surbl.org is not showing in the log. I have it activated, but I am receiving mails that are supposed to be blocked by multi.surbl.org.

That part I know. But my hMailServer does not seem to check using SURBL. It is not showing in the log that it is checking against SURBL.

SURBL

I have SURBL active using multi.surbl.org. I am receiving emails that are supposed to be blocked by multi.surbl.org. In my log it is showing only the DNS blacklists and nothing about SURBL. New White Listing

I added one whitelist in the white listing. I entered the lower and upper IP and also the email address *@domain.com. I've noticed that the IP and/or domain name are still checked by the dns blacklist servers. May I know what is the actual purpose of the white listing. Thanks.

I was trying to enter the names in the SMTP route and I've noticed that I can enter same email address and it does not give me an error. Also, I wish there is a way to sort the names for easy viewing. Would it be possible also to have an import/export button? Just a thought. Thanks again Martin.

Oh ok, so I really have to enter the 500 users name manually and update manually from time to time. I have 5 mail servers scattered remotely. I hope the new version will have the import and compare of addresses capability.

Thank you Martin. I appreciate all your effort.

I'm a bit confuse about the IP Ranges settings. The hMailServer is supposed to accept SMTP only from the Internet to our local SMTP. Outgoing of mails from our local SMTP will be direct to Internet. What will be the best setting for the IP Ranges?

Thank you for your help.

I am using hMailServer as an SMTP relay only. I think there is no way for hMailServer to find out whether the user exist or not. I created a rule to block a recepient if it is equal to user@domain.com. I'm not sure if that is the correct way.
