You are correct PDX just make sure it has a higher priority than the internet range. If memory serves higher = lower number. check the docs though.

The only way I could get that to work is if hmail ran under a user account that i specified which matched exactly (Including password) to the windows machine i was running the admin locally on.

if there are no log lines, then hmail is not being contacted. Is there a firewall in the way or port redirection that could cause issues? Any AV on the server that might intercept connections?

go into hmail admin and go to the account these folders are in. Then in the advanced tab you can edit folders and either delete the ones you want by right clicking on folder in left column or emptying the folder. You can bind hMail to an IP, check the docs for that.
There are no mechanics to rotate though, not sure why you would want to unless you are trying to avoid getting blacklisted when sending a shit ton of spam.

You are correct. if you are just sending out and dont care about anything else, just remove all ranges. Add one range with your ip address in and disable auth. Then allow external to external, only it will be able to send, nothing else.

IP ranges look fine however to be sure can you open up and post screenshots of each of the black ranges, don't need the red autoban ones. i was getting blue screens on my home pc lately and checking the mem dump file, Networx was also the culprit. Have removed it from all my machines which is a shame as i liked it.

it's quite clever from a security perspective, You get that disconnect between yourself and an outside MTA. As far as the email world is concerned your front facing mail servers are Here, and your own servers are hidden away in the background.

Just add a 0 to the end of all your spam mark numbers and you will get the same functionality with no serverside changes. Will give you much greater scope for marking spam so 1 becomes 10 and in your example 1.5 would now be 15, then in your RBLS, you can tailor to suit.

You could put a script together that runs on a scheduled task to pull the rejected ip's from greylisting table and insert these into auto ban table. Would need to have some sanity checks built in to take into account local ip ranges and routes if setup but could be done.

once setup just run an open relay check against your external ip address to make sure you have set it up correctly and no one from outside can send mail through your mailserver.
