It has had problems with messages and large attachments (over 10 MB) and with folders with many messages (over 7.000).

Currently we have set this to 200K.
My customer and myself scan every attachmend. The size does not matter.
Security comes before performance. Maybe a little bit to strict, but as long as it works nobody would change it.
