Would it not be better to disable the checks in hMailServer and then have SA run all your antispam tests? Instead of running some tests in one thing, and other tests in another.

Notification when a backup fails

Right now, the only way to tell if a backup fails is to check the log. I backup my mail once a day, so checking the log every morning gets tiresome. Would it be possible to have an email, or some other means to alert when a backup has failed?

Ah, well nevermind. Looks like the account they used to login was my "test" account. The password on the account wasn't that simple, but it was still a dictionary word. Lesson learnt that's for sure.

What is the best way to delete or move large amount of emails with hMailserver? Whenever I try to do it with Thunderbird or OE all hell seems to break loose. I need some way to periodically permanently deleting everything in my spam folder.

Max Message Size Question

When setting the max message size, either at the domain or smtp level, at what point does the message actually get refused? Does it check the file size before downloading, does it download up until the max size, or does it download the whole message and then check the size?

So where do I add the information to make mail coming from my server, going through an STMP relayer (I was having issues with mail bouncing back because of my dynamic IP), valid SPF? My NS is handled by 1and1.com and hostname by Godaddy. But I don't see the option on either of their pages.

Does hMailServer support the IMAP4 IDLE command? Allowing updates to the mailbox to be pushed to the client in real-time, instead of the client having to poll the server every so often.
