I have disabled the script and I have had no problems with timeouts. I also installed ASSP, and I like it a lot. I do have one more question, of the people on this board who has used ASSP and spamassassin; which do you prefer and why? I really don't what to un-install ASSP to install spamassassin ju...

FYI, the script causes timeouts under heavy load. i.e. trying to send to 10+ recipients at once if you want to call that heavy. I’ll look up ASSP and spamassassin. What I have for a criteria is an unused email address listed in a web page for the harvesters. Any email sent to this address should be ...

Ok, I like the script, I don't understand much of it, but I like what it does. But; I see that the complaint email address is exempt, I was going to ask for this. I want to apply blacklisting to the helo. ( i.e. helo says domain.co.uk but from says clickbank.com, helo says its from mydomain.com, hel...

Good news is that I have both ClamAV and Symantecs command line scanner (vpscan) running, Bad news is that they both skip local to local emails. I've tested this again.
When I send the Eicar test virus from a local account to a local account there is no virus checking done, but when the Eicar test virus is sent from an external account the virus is removed. Tested from gmail and that handy dandy test page

I didn't see the test page before, thanks. When I send the eicar virus from that test page ClamAV catches its "APPLICATION" 1764 "2005-06-02 20:20:10.192" "SMTPDeliverer - Message 377: Message attachments stripped (contained virus)." Re: Requires MSSQL service even though using mySQL?
I am using the latest beta of hMailServer. I am using mySQL but it requires the MSSQL service to be running. It says the service depends on it. I dont use MSSQL I just have it installed from previous use. Can I uninstall it without hMailServer throwing a fit? I dont know why it depends on it since ...

ClamAV and the Eicar test virus
I have hMailServer 4.10 and ClamAV 0.85.1
The paths are set correctly in hMail but the eicar test virus still gets through.
ClamAV finds the test virus on the hard drive when I do a manual scan.
Any Ideas?

Blacklisting and White listing
Under Settings-SMTP:
Adding a function to check against a file for a white and black list?
Entries by IP or user@domain.com with wild card support.
Or even with reg-ex support.

Seperate log files
Is it possible to seperate the log files by the application?
i.e. a log for pop, a log for imap, a log for smtp.
It would make it easier for truobleshooting problems
