Currently the only way to know if a range is auto banned is if you happen to check the IP ranges. There should be a warning on the status panel if there are IP ranges currently auto banned and what IP is banned.

I think just a warning, if an IP is banned and you want to know you can go and look .. as having 20 IP's on the status panel might be a bit much.

Perhaps instead of listing each one then just count how many ranges are banned and put a number up. If the number is high then it would indicate you are getting hammered.

I sit pretty constantly between five and ten autobanned ranges and have since the day I first updated to the version that included the autoban , with one domain.

It has got to be saving my server heaps of work I reckon.

Oh, yeah, And I like the idea.

Yeah that would be useful as a separate warning.

Diagnostics should also show if any ranges are currently banned.

This has been added both under Status and to the diagnostic tests for version 5.4.
A very basic warning if localhost is banned and an informational message if other hosts are banned.
