ham is opposite of spam, as in good. Ham heavy would seem you need more spam samples to balance your spam to ham (in other words bad unwanted email vs good wanted email) ratio of messages. (Take it for bayes db for testing I'd guess.) Generally you want to try & have it as balanced as possible with as close to equal # of spam & ham samples as possible but I've not run into a problem once you get enough samples.

i see

I need to tweek ( moving spam to notspam alot ) since

1. I'm in China they mostly use GB2312 in their email header --> got score by spam , not sure if it safe if I delete this one
2. They actually have their own spamhaus like here ( chinese version http://www.anti-spam.org.cn/ ) but I don't think it can be integrated to ASSP, but hmailserver antispam can use it.

Does ASSP have good documentation or forum -> I can't access the forum from china
So I'm going to borrow hmailserver forum :D

I have this one problem also
Suppose there is a mail that is not spam but put by assp in spam
I move it to the not spam, and than for easier use I just copy this mail and attach and sent it myself to my user

The prob is the attachment inside the .eml file always broken I wonder why ?

It seems a bit strange that you can't access the ASSP forum at http://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/assp/ as you apparently can access the ASSP main and download pages.

There are also two mailing lists for ASSP (http://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=69172) and a Wiki (http://apps.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/assp) where most (if not all) of your questions were already answered.

Best regards,

Nico
