SSL Security error on install

Post by mmurphy » 2020-10-15 16:46

I'm getting the following error attempting to set up the DB connection to an MS SQL server.

It appears that the issue is related to TLS1.0 not being enabled - Searches on the forum seem to point to modifying the database file of the .ini, however, that .ini does not have a Database section generated, as it hasn't connected to a database successfully.

ADO: [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (SECCreateCredentials()).]SSL Security error.

Which version of hMailserver are you trying to install

there is a 5.7 ALPHA version that I've been using for over a year that has the required Connector.
Or you can use another Database, eg MySQL
Just 'cause I link to a page and say little else doesn't mean I am not being nice.
