sending large attachments

Post by falves11 » 2019-06-10 06:02

I am using Outlook to send an email with a large zip file attachment, and Outlook immediately says "the file of your attachment is bigger than the server allows"
Is there a setting to allow unlimited size? I could not find in the Admin GUI any setting pertaining to the max attachment size.

SMTP >> General >> Max message size
(I set mine to 0 for unlimited)

Also for each domain >> Limits >> Max message size (again 0 for unlimited)
Just 'cause I link to a page and say little else doesn't mean I am not being nice.

For the next guy, Outlook has a limit of its own, that you need to neutralize with a new key in the registry
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Preferences
MaximumAttachmentSize=0
REG_DWORD
