Post by ffvvvv2 » 2019-01-08 18:52

Hello!
We have a hMailserver 4.4.1.
One of account is forwarding messages to Gmail account.
Some of messages is blocked by Gmail with error:
"Remote server replied: 550 5.7.1 DMARC initiative. h88-v6si43590506ljh.11 - gsmtp"
May be any decision of this problem?
Thank You!

The version of hMailserver is likely part of the problem - that is very old

DMARC is part of your DNS records. I'd guess that you are sending on behalf of a domain with a DMARC record and that your server doesn't match the DMARC record
Just 'cause I link to a page and say little else doesn't mean I am not being nice.

Thank for Your answer!

I add DNS-record
_dmarc.soft-corp.ru TXT v=DMARC1;p=none
But problem isn't solved

Do you have both dkim and spf set up?

Was there previously a DMARC DNS record?
What you wrote looks incomplete to me

We have a dns record about SPF.
What You mean of DKIM?
hMailserver 4.4.1 dosn't support DKIM

DMARC is about SPF + DKIM

You can't have a DMARC without both DKIM and SPF
Why are you trying to have a DMARC record?

Normally gmail messages include a URL to get further detail
Was there a URL in the next line of the response?

There's no URL

user@gmail.com
Error Type: SMTP
Remote server (64.233.162.27) issued an error.
hMailServer sent: .
Remote server replied: 550 5.7.1 DMARC initiative. l12-v6si56765486ljh.147 - gsmtp
