Problem on outlook research

hi,
i would to start from this forum because i had no problem until i deleted and restored my hmail account on Outlook 2016.

When i look for something, i always receive this advice. At the end it find something but it's very slow.
Do you know how can i fix?

in the other hotmail account i've configured in Outlook i do not have any trouble

If you have deleted the account on outlook, you will need the outpook PST file to rebuild first.

I recommend you do a compact/repair on the PST/account file in outlook, and then redownload all messages. This will take some time to complete.

Future searches will then be made local.

i repaired the .ost file but the problem still exist. I did not redownloaded, just repair with SCANPST.EXE https://support.office.com/en-us/articl ... 458afc5253

So, OST file, does that mean an IMAP connection?

If so just drop the account in Outlook and start a new account with the same connection detail

yes, it's IMAP.
I deleted and readded the account but nothing changed

can you please enable all logging in hMailsevrer, force the error to occur, wait another 15 seconds and post all of the logs created by hMailserver

ALSO, the issue seems to be that your mail client is using 'account@example.com' to log in for IMAP, but your SMTP connection is only using 'account'

Change the SMTP connection to use 'account@example.com'

Do you mean from "external account"? because in SMTP tab i cannot see nothing.
from "external account" i must use the credentials like the one on the image

If that is the same account as the IMAP posted earlier, then they look fine too. I can see THAT account log in successfully at "2018-03-29 15:05:19.333"



Your issue in this thread is a particular erre, and when you post logs you said

The problem is that the search in outlook is very slow. I get the error i have in the first post.
I attached the log file during the time i receive the advise in outlook, the keyword was "Rabot" if it can be useful.
