Read only mailbox?

You can only set permissions on a public mailbox (within IMAP - PUBLIC FOLDERS) https://www.hmailserver.com/documentati ... otocolimap. (The idea of setting read only on authenticated (private) mailbox is a bit perverse).

No its not perverse, if:
-one way communication (no reply needed), like statistical, snmp, advertising, trades on exchange, news and so on....

erm....

How does setting a 'read only' permission prevent someone replying to a NO REPLY REQUIRED email? It has no control on whether an email client composes a reply to the email.

'READ ONLY' only stops people moving/deleting them from that folder. Again, being an authenticated private inbox makes it weird. When would that inbox ever get cleared down?

you can forward every mail to public imap folder with only read privileges to owner.
