Doesn't sound like an hMailServer issue to me, sounds like it is a network problem with your SQL Server. Try restarting the sql server and hmailserver services.

I agree with cmurphy54 here. The [DBNETLIB][ConnectionWrite (send()).] means that the connection between hMailServer and MSSQL is lost in some way.
Did that error message appear directly after an reboot?
