When I attempt to send and email I get the above message on my client and it also appears in the logs.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Looks like authentication problem. Make sure that your client is configured properly to authenticate against the smtp server (hmailserver).

Please show diagnostics and enable SMTP logging, replicate the issue, then post the log.
If at first you don't succeed, bomb disposal probably isn't for you! ヅ

http://www.hmailserver.com/documentatio ... sages_smtp
550 Delivery is not allowed to this address

This error means that the sender is trying to send an email to an address which he is not allowed to send to. This message is generated after hMailServer has checked the IP range settings. As an example, the default IP range configuration does not allow external users to send messages to other external users. This is to prevent people from using your server to send spam. So if an external user tries to send a message to another external user, he will get this message.
In other words You are trying to send from an account that does not exist on your mailserver. You logged in as demo.user@kofaxdemo.com so that account is legitimate but you are trying to send as MortgageMessenger@kofaxdemo.com which is not an account on your server.

I'm a bit confused here, is that domain (kofaxdemo.com) a local domain on hmailserver? Are you trying to relay?
