Hi,
I've been running Hmail on SQL2000, but we've just moved everything across to 2005. I've moved the Hmail database to 2005, but the hmailserver service has a dependency on MSSQLSERVER (my 2000 instance).
I've ran the registry key in addons, but this just adds in the MSSQLSERVER dependency to the hmailserver service - I need it to use the MSSQLSERVER2005 instance!
We're wanting to remove the SQL2000 instance from the server, but can't stop it as Hmail is dependent on it (even though it's actually using the database in SQL2005)
Any ideas please? I've uninstalled and reinstalled Hmail, and that hasn't worked.

Doesn't matter - all sorted now. Ran makeservicedependant.vbs
Re: SQL2000 > SQL2005 dependencies problem
(In hMailServer 5, you explicitly select which service hMailServer should be dependant on in the database setup.)
