Why is the white list penalized?

I have the following information in my email document:

Content analysis details: (8.8 points, 6.3 required)

0.0 RDNS_NONE Delivered to trusted network by a host with no rDNS
3.4 FH_DATE_PAST_20XX The date is grossly in the future.
0.7 FROM_STARTS_WITH_NUMS From: starts with many numbers
0.0 HTML_MESSAGE BODY: HTML included in message
2.8 MIME_BASE64_TEXT RAW: Message text disguised using base64 encoding
1.9 AWL AWL: From: address is in the auto white-list
......

It has been reduced by 1.9 scores,Why is the white list penalized?

What is AutoWhitelist?

Another feature of SpamAssassin is "auto-whitelist". But the name is a misnomer. The AutoWhitelist is designed as an automatic score averaging system, and is just as likely to penalize or blacklist an address as it is to benefit or whitelist it. If you want to whitelist, you should use the directions above.

You need to edit the rule,as old rule was written in 199X,
So FH_DATE_PAST_20XX The date is grossly in the future is no use at all
