It sounds like you're in over your head. :D Indeed. If I'm being 100% honest, this is my 3rd time trying to implement an email server using hmail, I get frustrated and give up until I try again. This time I even registered a new domain so I wouldn't have to mess with my existing mx/dns records etc....

Edit - also editing the query to search for nonexistent data produces a "0" because the query is to COUNT, which always results in an integer. So this also renders the dial appropriately with a 0.

Looks like everything is working. You're able to receive mail from local and external domains, and you're able to log in to POP and retrieve messages. Is the sql server in your LAN or outside? If inside, encryption is not really necessary unless you put your unsecured open wifi on the same subnet, which you surely didn't, did you? :mrgreen:

Since your app is sending the message, you can deal with inserting the ID into the email body. I would handle it like this: Check every message for the ID.
