Re: Major Bug after replying to hMail virus notification mail

I guess, this *is* a bug, but I have absolutly no Idea what it was caused by. I also can't reproduce it. And I say that if you can't reproduce this, and then I can't reproduce this on another system it is ***NOT A BUG*** That seems more of a configuration issue than a **bug** This looping will happ...

Re: Major Bug after replying to hMail virus notification mail

Thank you for your quick reply. Our CEO received a hMailserver notification that a mail couldn't be delivered due to it contained a virus. Does hMailserver normally send such emails for you? No, hMail sends only to the original recipients. Was the CEO the original sender or one of the original recip...

Major Bug after replying to hMail virus notification mail

Our CEO received a hMailserver notification that a mail couldn't be delivered due to it contained a virus. He thought it was a spam and moved it manually in our public folder missedspam. In my role as postmaster I have to review mails in missed spam and to inform the user if it isn't. So I did in th...

Re: Blocked by gmail server

I often get this message when I'm sending more than 10 Testmails to my account. The blocking won't be permanent. If so, take care that no other machine from your internal network is sending to google in same time. After a while the lock will be released.

Wenn you edit an IP Range object, the tree on the left will open and the associated treeview item of the object you're editing will be selected. Autoban was auto, but not ban, then the server froze after a while

Hi there, tonight we had an intrusion attempt on a non existing account. Usually I wouldn't mind, but this time the mailserver's behavior was some kind of strange. It recognized the failed logins and added an autoban entry for each attempt, but it didn't ban the IP. After a while it frozes, so there...

Hi there, hMailserver logs are written daily in separate (ERROR_)?hMailserver_YYYY_MM_DD.log files, encoded by UTF-8 without BOM. The eventlog is always written in the same file (hMailserver_Events.log) without rotation, encoded by UCS-2 Little Endian. If I try to pre-create a UTF-8 encoded file, hM...
