Re: Internal MySQL

The password for the internal database is auto-generated during the installation procedure. It's not something you set yourself. The error message you get from sqlyog tells you that it's unable to connect to a MySQL server - but your hMailServer server is using SQL Compact - another database. So it ...

When hMailServer starts, it pre-creates connections/sessions which will remain unused until someone connects to the server. Whenever someone connects, that user will get linked to the pre-created session, and at the same time a new session will be created. You'll see this if you enable logging and r...

It seems like the vociemail system assumes that hMailServer has implemented the extension SMTP Service Extension for Delivery Status Notifications (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc1891) which it has not (and never has). The issue was caused by SMTP not being enabled under Settings -> Protocols. I'm not sure exactly why, guessing the Markussi disabled it when the spamming occurred.

Just wanted to share, in case someone else stumbles on this thread with the same issue.

So right now your domain records tells users to go to NS1-NS6.EZDNSCENTER.COM and ask for DNS records. But when I query this DNS it does not seem to know about your domain.

You need to use the web interface or whatever method EZDNSCENTER provided you with to set up DNS records for your domain.
