millions of messages... i don't know about your hardware but it will take ages to remove them with clean methods. very likely your entire system will hang. so, a very dirty suggestion if that account has a reasonable amount of messages other than those in trash: copy messages to a temporary account....

you can tell your server to listen to ports you like but you can't tell other servers to do the same.
solution in your case is using an SMTP relay host which accepts connections to ports other than 25 (587, 465, 25000 etc...).
or you make a deal with your ISP and they open outbound port 25 for you.
