Ok, anyways, in greylisting-whitelisting wild cards are aupported according to the manual, thus opening the whole subnet.

Re: Need advice for NDR settings.
Incorrect addresses don't cause NDRs on their own If users don't have a limit on storage space then mailbox can never be full. (No NDRs) Other cause of NDRs could be auto-replies. Thanks Mattg, but i dosagree with you. 1. Incorrect addresses in my case will cause NDRs sent out by hmailserver (front...

Re: Double spam emails forwarded
If you have any forwarding GLOBAL rules, you must add a secind criteria "recipient list not contains forward address" else the global rule will be ran for the forwarded message most likely before it's deleted. Thanks Doom; The only forward rule that i have is the rule number 5. Now i just added wha...

Since i maxed out on my post, here is the test you should run after completing the installation.
Go to http://www.mtgsy.net/dns/virustest.php , enter your email address and click submit. this will send the Eicar virus testing email (not hurmfull) so you can make sure that ClamAv is working fine.

Re: ClamAV - Server 2008
Hi sckramer2,
No matter what i did, i couldn't get this thing to go, i always get the error
Can't open/parse the config file C:\ClamAv\Freshclam.conf
I get the same error for Clamd.conf also, despite having both files edited.
Anyways i will stick to my tbb version.

Looks like authentication problem. Make sure that your client is configured properly to authenticate against the smtp server (hmailserver).

Hmailserver, ClamAv, SaneSecurity and blocking
Hello there;
I was just wondering if anyone knows how to block certain extensions within archive attachments (ZIP-RAR)? Lately got bombarded with .exe files within zip folders that went through easy.
Currently using latest of hmailserver with Clamav and clamsup with Sanesecurity signatures.
Thanks.
