Domains in an array?
Hi, I currently have a script (which somebody else wrote but I amended) which checks outgoing mails to see if the @domain in the from address matches the @domain of the authorised user. I am trying to amend this script so that for each mail sent instead of checking whether it matches the the @domain...

Re: Allowing outbound only during a particular timeframe?
Maybe.. If you have hmailserver installed on Windows 7 or Server 2008 you could setup a batch files to alter Windows Firewall one to block outbound traffic from hMailserver and one to unblock it. Then add the batch files to scheduled tasks for the appropriate times. That way during the day hmailserv...

Using routes and domain aliases to make for easier migration
Just thought I'd share the method we used for migrating from our old server to hMailserver, it may be useful to some or blindingly obivious to others. This method meant that we could migrate users at convenient times and have both the old server and hmailserver working in conjuction with each other....

Re: POP3 lock + mobile device strategies
Use POP for the PCs and IMAP for the mobile devices.
Set PC clients to leave the mail on the server for x days or something like that, mail will get deleted eventually and the mobiles will always see the least x days worth of mail.

Re: Hijack control and review
Isn't this what you are after? http://www.hmailserver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=13824 (except for the secondary queue bit) Hi ^DooM^, Many thanks for your reply. I've taken a good look at that script to see whether instead of bouncing the emails I could somehow put them in a hidden public fold...

Hijack control and review
First of all I'd just like to say what a fantastic product hMailserver is and that i'm embarrassed in a way to post a feature request for a product that is distributed freely, however for me it's just the one thing that is missing. I have looked all over the board and found things simalar to this ba...

Re: Daily quota warning
Ha ha, I said my scripting was bad! Although the original writer of the script seems to have put that in and not used it either. I came up with a use for it though, my amended script now sends a report once the script has finished. Option explicit dim oApp set oApp = CreateObject("hMailServer.Applic...

Re: Daily quota warning
Ok, I took a look again and noticed further on down the post someone had already attempted what I was looking to achieve, but they were using a different method to send the warning messages. http://www.hmailserver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2382 So here is my attempt at altering their existing s...

Re: Daily quota warning
Hi Matt, Thanks for your reply, unfortuantly I think the script is implemented as messages are received and then checks only the account that the message is to be delivered to, therefore would not be suitable for an all domains/accounts check. Like I say though my scripting is poor, I was just hopin...

Daily quota warning
Hi, I have recently implemented hMailServer with great success. I'm pleased to say that the limited issues I experienced were ironed out by searching the documentation and this forum. I am looking to implement a script to warn users that they are approaching thier mailbox quota. Currently I have use...

Re: ClamAV - Server 2008
I now have ClamAV working using the Hideout version. However I notice that although freshclam updates the signatures certain elements of the engine are out of date, If anyone has any information on using the latest win32 build I would be very grateful.

ClamAV - Server 2008
Hi, We have just started using hMailserver and have to say that coming from an iMail background so far we are very impressed. After a relativley painless install and migration the only issue we have is that ClamWin maxs the CPU on the server each time it scans a new mail. After doing a little readin...
