Re: LATEST EXPERIMENTAL BUILD - 5.4-B2011120101

I'm using this build with the integrated SQL server compact. Got this error in hmailserver logs: "ERROR" 2676 "2012-03-03 00:00:20.378" "Severity: 2 (High), Code: HM5033, Source: DALRecordset::Open, Description: Source: SQLCEConnection::Execute, Code: HM10046, Description: Unknown error when executi...

Re: hMailserver once more nominated

I'm using a beta from january 2012, but i needed to create a job to stop/start the service every night.
When sending a lots of emails per day to the outside world (100k), it just stops accepting smtp connections (all emails received just before are sent ok).

SMTPDeliverer: Message 553572 - Connection failed

While trying to send an email to @yahoo.fr the hmailserver log writes: "SMTPD" 10184 0 "2011-09-27 16:40:01.677" "TCP" "DNS - MX Lookup: yahooo.fr" "SMTPD" 10184 0 "2011-09-27 16:40:01.739" "TCP" "DNS - MX Result: 1 IP addresses were found." Re: Equivalent of Postfix's smtp_destination_concurrency_lim

Well... no. This setting is when you try to send 1 email with 100 recipients in this email. I'm sending 100 emails with 1 recipient per email, but these emails are all on the same domain (@orange.fr). The setting I'm searching would limit the number of opened connections to the same IP of one of the...

Equivalent of Postfix's smtp_destination_concurrency_limit

Hi,
postfix provides a setting to limit the maximum simultaneous connections to a specific smtp domain while delivering emails.

Is there an equivalent setting in hMailServer ?

Re: DKIM Signing if all outbound emails

If i understand correctly the reverse DNS entry will still match the local host name configured in protocol/smtp/delivery tab ? Nice. Ok, so the external server is google apps. I can put aspmx.l.google.com in the target smtp host. Do you know how to activate SSL ? If I activate it it won't deliver t...

DKIM Signing if all outbound emails

Hi, i am in a situation where hMailServer is the primary outbound server for domain-1.com. The configured domain in hMailServer is domain-2.com, which is the mail server operator domain, and also the reverse dns entry for the sending ip. The configured domain has 0 account as this is an outbound onl...

Sure this should be the trick, if hMail really calls scripts for messages sent to distribution lists, which I doubt it really does.
And my skills in VBScript/JScript are not what they used to be :p
But i'll try.

Re: discussion list: how to detect in a global rule ?

Yes I've seen the topic and looked at the vbscript. But this is a full rewrite of a real mailing list, which is not what i need. I need a discussion list as implemented in hmail, but with the ability to replace the sender's mail before the mail is forwarded to list members. Why ? Because with the cu...

discussion list: how to detect in a global rule ?

Hi i have SET up a discussion list but i'm not happy. hmail correctly forwards all incoming mails to each member but to deliver each mail it uses as "from" the original sender's email. Consequence: all forwarded mails are flagged as spam. How with a global rule would i detect that the mail is from t...

mailer-daemon@domain.com

Hi all,
I have a hmailserver connected to mailer.domain.com

When it can not deliver an email it sends it to mailer-daemon@domain.com

Is there a setting somewhere to either:
- specify this email
- store undelivered mails in database

I would like mailer-daemon@mailer.domain.com

:)

1 distribution list and 0 local account = 503 Issue a res..

Hi, i've used hmailserver with success to sign and send messages from localhost to the internet. Now i've created a distribution list, whose only member is an external address, and whose senders will be also external addresses. I've tested using telnet why it was not working, as logging does not wor...
