Why is there no option for: remove DB entries not found on disk? I have an out of sync mail with 384,000 rows in hm_messages, but only 260,000K files on the disk... Is there a way to do this? Could DDS be updated to do this? I have no option to restore from BU etc... Also you can't just delete hm_me...

Just add a 0 to the end of all your spam mark numbers and you will get the same functionality with no serverside changes. Will give you much greater scope for marking spam so 1 becomes 10 and in your example 1.5 would now be 15, then in your RBLS, you can tailor to suit. I'll experiment, lately, I'...

too bad greylisting does not let you whitelist domains... we are having gmail greylisting problems this week also & have the bypass on SPF checked... maybe google added ip addr's & the TTL's on the SPF-DNS records are not updated yet

you're right, but it started to get hairy when I actually used recursion & errors happened (over millions of messages), this way an error happens it's just a missed folder name on a single messages, instead of some unknown chunk-- + vbscript has limited error control & this is not done yet, i'll rev...

the big thing is the query is only run twice a day instead of every 60 seconds (and multiple times in a row if there are new messages)-- I'm not sure how mssql handles it, but w/mysql it is expensive

Well not so fast with checking >0.. I am pretty sure that requires a DB scan & if going to do that might as well do a FULL but we'll see if there is a low-cost way to see if there are remnants requiring an early full. low-cost is probably just use the count result from the normal 12-hour FULL, then...

No that logging was not added. ok In my testing the only way I've been able to get past the 1000 mark was to pound the server with >1000 per minute & even then once the next FULL triggers the missed ones get indexed then. 1/2 a day might be too long but then again how often do we expect 1k emails/m...
