My understanding of the _domainkey record is that it is (or was) used with DomainKeys, and not DKIM. Of course I could be wrong.

Perhaps scripting something similar to what Martin has suggested here - http://www.hmailserver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2542&p=76437#p76437 That will be a handy feature when added. Running external scripts after hacker/ spammer detection?

I'm wondering if it's possible to do something with hmail's internal scripting. What I'm thinking is something along the lines of this. If a DNSBL returns a positive result for a known spammer, then I can run an external script to add that particular IP to my firewall. Or, another example, if a user...

I think Doom has a good point. I can imagine that some spammer, knowing this behavior about hMailserver could exploit it by retrying a few times. So I think maybe an option would be a better idea than making this standard behavior.

I think there is always at least ONE header written by SA. My first thought after looking at your script is that perhaps perl is not in your path. If that's not the problem, perhaps you can sprinkle a few "EventLog.Write"s through your script and see if you can determine where it's breaking down.
