Re: How to coustimize default port numbers

Why is this a feature request? SMTP receives on port 25. It's a port you only change if you don't expect anybody else in the world to be able to email you. Don't change it if you want anybody else to be able to send you email. Some ISP's stop people using port 25 with their hosting - you may need to...

Auto-ban on multiple attempts from a spammer

One thing I have noted is the script-kiddie spammers that use lists of potential email address names in the hope they get an email through. Or they use a list of random 'from' addresses in the hope to get through. This happens even if they are being stopped by anti-spam rules, and wastes a ton of lo...

Re: hMailServer Act as a MX backup and SPF

For SPF, ~all is a softfail, not an actual fail. Try -all which is the actual fail directive for any other mail server other than your mx listed ones.

You can use greylisting and other anti-spam checks on a backup MX server. Best not to use them on redirected mail from that backup MX though.

It's possible you haven't filled in all the relevant options within the .net mail components when using them. Turn on SMTP logging and check the IP that is being used when you send mail.
