Greylisting whitelisting entries
So I'm updating my greylisting rules, and I'm trying to add gmail stuff. When I look at their SPF records, the amount of IP addresses (and ranges) is staggering. Does the whitelist table support a range of IP's - ie - 127.0.0.1-127.0.23.1? Or do I need to list each class C with a wildcard - ie 127.0...

Poll : Offline Que Editing
I'd love to see a feature that would allow me to edit/clean up the mail que in an offline fashion. Currently to get into HmailAdministrator, you have to have Hmailserver running (or the Admin will automatically start it). This poses a problem with a lot of domains and a lot of messages. Currently I'...

Re: Limit Outgoing emails by either User or Domains
I'd really love to see this feature. We've seen it several times where a customers email account password gets comprimised, and immediately their account blasts 100-200,000 messages into the mailserver. The mailserver is on big enough hardware that it typically handles it, but delivery gets slow and...

ASSP is pretty good, but it just doesn't scale well. Re: hMailServer X64 Bit Support
It is highly unlikely that you will need more than 2GB of RAM. We are currently running 4GB of RAM in our installation, and it does not use all of it (in fact, there is 2997MB free, according to MRTG). We currently server well in excess of 15,000 mailboxes and process somewhere around 500,000 messag...

Re: hMailServer X64 Bit Support
By downgrading your system to 2GB of RAM instead of 4GB of RAM, you are not forcing anything into 32 bit mode. Your system is still running in 64 bit mode even though it has less memory. What this sounds like is a symptom of bad memory or a bad memory controller more than anything. I have successful...

Is there any way to force the SMTP-AUTH username to be used as the "from" address on hmailserver? Re: Turning off the cache for Network Load Balancing
NLB would be very nice, I agree, but as arguably one of the largest installed bases of Hmailserver, it's not a deal breaker. We use MS Cluster services to move the service around, and we've never had an issue where Hmailserver cannot handle the load of all of our users at once. If you absolutely nee...

Re: Grey list option for version 5
One thought I had on making greylisting a little more flexible would be to use the /24 address of a mailserver, rather than the individual IP address. That would effectively fix the "little guy" mail clusters that are on the same network that use multiple mailservers to send out email. How difficult...

You could accomplish this with a few tools - 1 - you'd need to have synchronized DB servers - Pretty easy to set up w/ MSSQL 2005 2 - Set up DFS between the servers. David, Have you tried setting your limit a little bit higher? An email that's within 300k of being over seems to be a pretty poor test. Set your limit to 25mb, see if the message goes through. My guess would be that with the encoding, it may actually be larger than what is being reported in your log.

I'd like to see a provision that allows you to block an email address on a per-mailbox, per-domain, and server-wide level. Would this be something that is possible? --Edit-- I know we can do this via rules on a server-wide and per-mailbox level, but I can't find a way to do it on a per-domain level.
