Backup function

Is it possible to use the backup function (using 4.2) on a schedule?

I'd like to schedule nightly backups.

Also why is backup in the settings area? Seems more appropriate for the tools area...

One more question... Any plans for a status bar?

I'm thinking on how I should implement this. The feature is named "On the fly" email alias creation. I assume hMailServer shouldn't create a real hMailServer alias, but just forward the message to the recipient. Otherwise, you would probably have to remove aliases from time to time. Two new setting...

It sounds like all you need is a SMTP server for sending mail.

try

http://www.postcastserver.com/

they have a free version.

Once you set it up, just set everyone's outgoing mail server (smtp) to the machine name of the computer you installed postcast server on.

Heres another problem I'm having that I think is related to Outlook, and not hMail server.
