As far as i know there is no option like that. Messages are always put in "domain"-folders. And in the domainfolders there are max 256 other folders. Why? Performance! Alle messages in one folder is getting performance issues with lot of emails

In hMailserver 5.

You can make a account-rule.

If field from contains "@" (every mail) then
1. Set Header Value (New in 5)
2. Forward E-mail
3. Delete E-mail (optional)

In your oulook, check on the header to see if the messages is forwarded by hmailserver.

You can put 2 the new domain under the names tab of your first domain.

The result: every account of the first domain is also reached for the 2 new domains.

There are 2 ways.

1 set a forward on a account

Thats i good suggestion. My ISP does the same thing. You can run a mailserver and receive on port 25, but you mailserver cannot be abused because you can not send on port 25. You can solve this to put the smtp server from your isp in the relay option. When i was typing this it still does not explain...

I think its very strange that you receive an entry in you hmailserver log when you use a client but you can't connect to port 25 with telnet. Have you set up your IP ranges correct? Have you enabled smtp-autentication? Can you post a detailed log (debug log) of a remote office connecting tot hmailse...

No hmailserver has not a "admin" password to access all e-mail accounts. You could look in de data folder of this persons account to see if the email you are looking for is arrived. Also you can search your logfiles.

Is far as i know, the external accounts bypass the spam protection (spam protection within hmailserver that is), all mail in the external pop3 box is inmediatly put in the users mailbox in hmailserver.

If you use assp/spamassasin hte external-accounts for sure bypass spam protection

are you using Pop3 or IMAP? If you are using pop3 mail is maybee deleted from the server by the webmail application. When you hit send and receive in outlook do you see anything in hmail log? (make sure you are logging pop3/imap sessions). Be more specific what you are doing so maybe we can help you!

You should disable(most) anti-spam features in hmailserver if assp is used. Since assp is connecting to hmailserver as localhost, most checks will not work. It is enough to disable spamprotection in your ip-ranges for "My Computer".

When you are using assp, assp listens on port 25 and "forwards" all smpt commands to another port (for example 125).

On the the domain tab there are aliasses.

Set up your main domaing : example.com

And put the other domain in the alisas : example.nl

All mail to user@example.com and user@example.nl are stored in the same mailbox.

I don't know anything about the netserver so i can't help you with that!

Ik looks like your forwarding is not ok or you are using hmailserver's spam utilities also. assp always identiefies as localhost or 127.0.0.1 at hmailserver. This is why some checkes go wrong. Can you see any logging in hmailserver what happends to the message?

In earlier versions it was ok.

you can't use hmailserer and assp on the same port (25) set hmailserer to another port and let assp "forward" to this port. This doesnt explain why port 110 or 143 are not working.

If so how do i do? i have this rule : if subject contact "xyz" then run rule "sendnotification" I want to send a notification the sender that messages which contain xyz are not processed by the server.

I had cpu problems using clamscan.exe. Followed your howto and installed clamd.exe and use clamdscan.exe now instead. CPU problems are gone!!

Pop3 locks are account specific.

Only one user at a time can access a pop3 mailbox (the same mailbox). Others will get a lock notification.

If a mailbox is locked and there is no pop3-activity for 2 minutes, hmailserver should remove the lock automaticly.
