Hi everyone: At the end, I just installed MySQL last version and in a few minutes with robocopy and MySQL dumps it was all on the new server. I have cleared the old paths to messages on the database also. The procedure Mattg should be stick somewhere because it is very easy to follow. I already knew...

Re: 250k message 50Gb hMailServer migration
Thanks for your fast answer ! I had already thought in this solution, but I was cautions with the 1GB limit (I am at 50GB now). Anyway I'm going to give it a try, and in fact I'll make the backup in the new server, in that way I'll have more than enough (+800GB free). My only question is... I value ...

Re: Upgrade 4.3.3 B285 to 5.4.1 B1951 ?
Excuse my typo error, anywhere I speak about 4.3.3 should be read as 4.4.3 B185. You are correct, first I have to be at last v4, that is 4.4.3 B185 that is what we already have. I've also seen that 5.0 should be avoided for external databases, but relying on the internal one I have not seen any othe...

Upgrade 4.3.3 B285 to 5.4.1 B1951 ?
Hi everyone: We have decided to upgrade an old machine from 4.3.3 B285 to 5.4.1 B1951, as it is a huge leap, we have been reading all the upgrade path comments in 4.3->5.0, 5.0->5.1, 5.1->5.2, 5.2->5.3, but 5.3->5.4 because we have not been able to find any. For the record, I recommend against a portable implementation of hmailserver. In this way the app developer only has cater for the Windows development, and try to not use strange win API's.

I think the problem is in ASSP config. Spammer talks to ASSP. ASSP accepts it and talks to hMailserver from 127.0.0.1 with is entirely reliable to hMailServer. The problem probably is that ASSP is not correctly configured as it lets the spammer to pass messages to you hMailServer while mine doesn't....
