Could it be that a spammer has managed to guess an easy pass for any of your users ? Check the account from which the spam is originated to see if it comes from your own server and then have a look at it's user/password robustness.

Basically all of spam work.

I just let one thing for hMailserver: send all spam messages I let get through ASSP for whatever reason in test mode into special IMAP foders of my users (a SPAM folder for every user). It's a rule very easy to write.

The idea I propose is a way similar as how Google did with Picasa http://picasa.google.com, making the application automatically Linux compatible.

In this way the app developer only has cater for the Windows development, and try to not use strange win API's.

You RECEIVE EHLO mfz so it's not hMailServer who is identifying you with mfz.

This sounds to me an internal SMTP delivery, that means the machine 192.168.1.1 in you LAN wants to send to your server an email and that machine says "EHLO mfz", nothing to do with hMailServer.

I think the problem is in ASSP config. Spammer talks to ASSP. ASSP accepts it and talks to hMailserver from 127.0.0.1 with is entirely reliable to hMailServer. The problem probably is that ASSP is not correctly configured as it lets the spammer to pass messages to you hMailServer while mine doesn't....

Same for me. hMailserver + ASSP + clamav works very nice here.

I think you can survive with hMailserver's antispam tools they do a very good job, but if you find Spam as annoying as I do then you need ASSP or another tool.
