Problem

Helo, I submitted a critical error when updating to version 5.2 - Build 356. The error appears when i used a shared resource to store the emails, my file "hMailServer.INI" has the following configuration

DataFolder=mysharehmail5 mailboxes

HMailServer log reports the following errors

"ERROR" 1772 "2009-08-05 18:12:23.834" "Severity: 3 (Medium), Code: HM5050, Source: File::CreateDirectory, Description: Could not create the directory myshare. Tried 5 times without success. Windows error code: 123 (Unknown)"

I could verify that this bug is not in version 5.1.2 and in version 5.2 when DataFolder is setting to a local disk, eg. DataFolder=G:mailboxes

There will be a new build shortly fixing this.

I've created a new build solving this issue. The new build is located here:

Dear Martin,

thank you very much for responding and resolving the problem as soon as possible. I want to confirm if the version hMailServer-5.2.1-B359.exe can be considered stable or the estimated date of launch of the next release.

PD: Congratulations on your work

Well, if you're using UNC paths it's definitively more stable than before. There's no date set for the next production release. If you experience problem with the UNC problem now, you should upgrade.

Thank you very much for your time

I have checked and reported the bug is no longer present in version hMailServer-5.2.1-B359.exe
